I’m Alex Sovine, born in Foley, Alabama, and raised in Baldwin County. I attended the Robertsdale school system throughout my education and graduated in 2016.

Construction has been a part of my life from an early age. Growing up, I watched my dad, Mike Sovine, run Sovine Construction, and I knew from a young age that residential construction was my passion. In 2021, I took over our family business, and I’m proud to continue working alongside my dad every day.

What I love most about residential contracting is the creativity and sense of accomplishment that comes with building something from the ground up. Framing is my favorite part of the job—especially roof framing. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing all the calculations and hard work come together perfectly when a roof is framed correctly.

My dad instilled in me early on that honesty and hard work are the foundation of success in this industry. These values guide every project we take on at Sovine Construction, ensuring we deliver quality craftsmanship and trusted service to our clients.

When I’m not on the job site, I enjoy golfing, bowling, and spending time with my friends and family.
